Position Overview

We are thrilled to announce a new job opening at our Brussels (Belgium) location. We seek to hire a skilled Data Analyst and Business Intelligence Manager to join our dynamic Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping a robust data ecosystem while enabling stakeholders to make well-informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Qlik Sense Application Development

Lead the end-to-end development of new Qlik Sense applications or customize existing ones.

Strategic Data Analysis

Generate insightful data analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Data Management

Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources. Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and understand their data requirements.

Collaboration

Work closely with the Data & Analytics lead and a team of five talented data experts. You will report directly to the Data & Analytics Lead.

Core Activities:

Collaborate with Stakeholders

• Engage with internal stakeholders to align on business needs.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions.

Data Modelling, Visualization, and Reporting

• Design and create data models representing data structures and relationships.
• Create meaningful visualizations and interactive dashboards using BI tools.
• Build comprehensive reports for data exploration and trend analysis.

Data Extraction, Transformation, and Integration

• Utilize SQL to retrieve data from various sources.
• Automate data flows using APIs where possible.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through rigorous QA processes.

ETL Processes and Data Governance

• Perform ETL activities to ensure data is ready for analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of data sources, data quality, and metadata.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Essential Qualifications

• Strong academic background in a relevant field.
• 2-3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools like Qlik Sense or Power BI.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and ETL processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Qlik technologies, including Qlik Sense.
• Familiarity with digital and marketing tools such as Veeva CRM, Google Analytics, SFMC, and API.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trust-based relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a globally dispersed team.
