Title: Data Analyst - Assurance - Analytics Delivery (Manager)

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Driving operational improvements and efficiency around the audit process.
  • Collaborating with Assurance teams to deliver in-depth data analysis as part of client audit services.
  • Managing data requests, capture, transfer, transformation, and preparation for analysis.
  • Coordinating the development of industry-specific or custom analytical tools for audit teams.
  • Utilizing analytical tools to analyze complex data and deliver results in various formats.
  • Creating organized and concise work papers documenting engagement procedures.
  • Staying informed of analytics solutions, auditing, and accounting standards affecting business processes analyzed.
  • Managing and motivating teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Delivering consistent quality client services while monitoring project progress.
  • Maintaining long-term client relationships and identifying business development opportunities.

Employment Details

Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (40 hours per week)

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following educational and work experience criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
  • Master’s degree in the mentioned fields with 4 years of related work experience.

Technical Skills

  • 4 years of experience with data analysis, including data capture and transformation, ETL tools like Alteryx, and visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools including Python, PySpark, Apache Spark, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, JavaScript, or D3.js.
  • Experience in developing data visualization dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
  • 2 years of experience with financial business processes, working with audit teams and clients.
  • 2 years of project management experience across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • 2 years of experience with audit data analytics and reporting findings to stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience with database management, statistical and predictive machine learning software, robotic process automation, and AI.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Azure Databricks.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and data models such as SAP or Oracle.

Travel Requirements

Must be willing to travel domestically up to 20% to meet client needs.
