Data Analyst (Commodity Analyst) Supply Chain - Join HP India

Join the HP supply chain team and be a part of delivering over 2 PCs and 1 Printer every second to our global partners and customers. We are currently searching for a talented Supply Chain Planning Data Analyst based in India.

Job Responsibilities

Data Analyst Responsibilities:

• Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources using algorithmic, data mining, and statistical tools.
• Explore opportunities in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Present data insights using clear, engaging language.
• Leverage technical, analytical, and communication skills to identify patterns and solve business problems.
• Produce reports and analyze data for supply and demand planning.
• Review performance metrics regularly, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Create compelling reports that narrate how customers interact with the business.
• Contribute to the organization’s data science strategy.
• Establish and enhance data systems and processes.
• Collaborate with business partners to identify issues and propose data-driven solutions.
• Utilize machine learning and statistical techniques to solve problems.
• Stay enthusiastic about algorithm-driven problem-solving and inspire others with your work.

Supply Chain Planner Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced knowledge to address complex business issues.
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods.
• Analyze complex problems, considering multiple factors.
• Lead or provide expertise to functional projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Mentor and guide lower-level employees.
• Support supply chain resiliency for planning and associated projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes.
• Manage supply chain processes such as demand-supply matching and material allocation.

Qualifications & Experience

• First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
• 6-10 years of experience in supply chain planning and creating tools for supply planning (Power BI, Python, SQL, Kinaxis, Anaplan, Oracle, SAP).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Deep understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver).
• Experience handling diverse and complex issues.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to simplify complex data, visualize, and communicate stories effectively.
• Strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
