- Take responsibility for existing business & operational reports provided by the Data Insights team
- Assume ownership of problems, issues and enhancements for existing Data Insight solutions
- Contribute significantly to data team activities across all channels, providing support when necessary
- Assist the data team in deriving increased business value from technical solutions
- Help in creating a unified modern data reporting solution with visual and metric capabilities
- Cooperate with broader Engineering and business teams to stabilize and scale the data solutions efficiently
- Aid in defining requirements and specifications for Data Insights team initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or senior data analyst providing valuable business insights. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to propose and take charge of solutions that deliver business insights driven by data
- Confidence in solving problems in a complex data environment
- A proactive team player eager to work with other teams to achieve goals
- Proficient in working with clearly and vaguely defined tasks requiring regular initiative
- An excellent communicator comfortable with technical and non-technical stakeholders or customers
- Experience working with Cloud platforms, SaaS products & decentralised data management approach
- Familiarity with data pipelines and Enterprise data solutions such as DataBricks. Excellent SQL & Python skills
- Knowledge of modern databases and data services including Oracle, Dynamo, Aurora, Influx, ElasticSearch, Postgres
- Experience with analytics, modeling and segmentation approaches for diverse data sets
- Prior experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Qlik.
