Job Description:
The Diageo Beer Company (DBC) Data Analyst is responsible for providing excellent service to the DBC Customer Operations team by ensuring our data is maintained and updated accurately. They will spearhead a number of pivotal support functions for the OTC process. Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial as this role involves direct dealings with Distributors, Commercial Sales and Finance teams and a variety of internal teams including Supply Planning, Logistics, Brand and Innovation.
Role Description:
- Guiding a number of crucial support functions for the OTC process, including listings and catalogs
- Running and publishing the daily KPI reporting
- Assisting the Customer Operations Analysts (COA) with allocation reporting for Innovation projects
- Driving complex, continuous improvements through critical thinking, identifying best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ensuring data is maintained and updated accurately (e.g., SAP MasterData, Distributor Profile)
- Taking charge of all aspects of the repack process
- Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on current and new systems including Diageo Connect, WinShuttle, PowerBI, BOT development
- Ad hoc reporting
- Supporting COAs and Customer Operations manager as needed
Financial Responsibility:
- Ensuring data accuracy as it impacts the total US Markets
- Preserving, monitoring, and influencing the results of relevant key performance indicators for service, cost, cash, and quality
- Undertaking appropriate actions to control the cost impact of order violations, order expedites, and other actions taken to deliver service against operational constraints and budgets
- Driving the ongoing refinements of Customer Operations processes and metrics to foster service improvements, cost-effectiveness, cash flow, and quality
- Collaborating with Finance teams during monthly financial closures
Requirements:
- Degree in supply chain, business management, or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain or advanced analytics within the Beverage Alcohol industry or a fast-paced CPG company
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP
- Experience in PowerBI preferred
- Proven analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize a heavy workload and see issues through to completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capability of working independently and collaborating with internal and external customers across various levels of the organization
- Ability to establish strong customer relationships and manage customer expectations
