Job Title: Data Analyst

What Success Looks Like for a Data Analyst at Fiserv

As a Data Analyst based in our Berkeley Heights, NJ location, you'll play a crucial role in conducting various analyses to support our strategic business objectives. You will extract meaningful insights from data to enhance our client delivery and servicing operations, boosting client satisfaction and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs.
  • Convert critical, time-sensitive customer requirements into actionable data reports and extracts.
  • Utilize analytical skills for data selection and manipulation, presenting data in formats like Excel, .TXT, and .CSV.
  • Prepare and execute queries of simple to medium complexity to generate necessary results.
  • Perform quality assurance testing and validation for the core banking system’s data.
  • Integrate diverse database solutions into business visualization tools for varied data needs.
  • Develop, edit, and manage data mapping documents, client communication materials, and internal technical documents by collaborating with Fiserv Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, as per contractual obligations.
  • 4+ years of experience with Data Cloud, Agile framework, Jira, Confluence, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, and/or GitHub.
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience utilizing data-driven methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work or military experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analysis packages and programming languages like Python, SQL, or SAS.
  • Proven ability to engage clients at all levels to review data outcomes, business applicability, and data accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Fiserv’s core banking services and products.
