Data Analyst With rapid growth comes a plethora of opportunities to explore and challenges to overcome in relation to data. SmithRx’s Data Analytics team is at the cutting edge of managing large volumes of data, unpacking their complexities, and exploiting their insights to create value for our current and potential clients. We are in search of a Data Analyst to assist us in this thrilling undertaking. The Data Analyst will function as a member of SmithRx’s expanding Data Analytics team and report to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics. Data analysts serve as the bridge between our business and technology departments. In collaboration with our Lead Data Analysts, you will work with the Data Engineering team to shape our internal data infrastructure and with our customer-facing teams to deliver insights that effectively portray the value proposition of SmithRx. Within the depth of our data, you will delve, searching for patterns and identifying trends that will guide our strategy for the foreseeable future. What will you do: - Collaborate with our data engineering team to fortify our internal data warehouse and ensure its design fulfills key business requirements. - Craft and execute methods to integrate various data sources into uniform, analysis-ready datasets. - Contribute to the evolution of our analytics codebase, abiding by established developmental best practices. - Design metrics and perform rigorous analysis to unearth insights within our data that inform strategic decision-making. - Construct visual snapshots that tell clear, compelling stories and supplement regular and spontaneous reporting by highlighting the SmithRx value proposition. - Form strong work relationships with our stakeholders to guarantee that all internal and external reporting and data needs are satisfied. What will you bring to SmithRx: - A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent necessary. - At least 3-5 years of work experience in a Data Analytics role. - Healthcare and/or pharmacy experience preferred. - Advanced skills in creating action-driven dashboards with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar necessary. - Looker experience highly preferred. - Advanced expertise in SQL and the capacity to write complex, optimized queries with comprehensive QA checks necessary. - Familiarity with additional data analysis tools such as Python, R, etc. preferred. - Familiarity with Github preferred. - Familiarity with Salesforce preferred. - Strong analytical skills, ability to think critically about data and the narratives they deliver; experience integrating large sets of data from various sources. - A curiosity and eagerness to learn about the complexity of the pharmacy benefits industry and its data. - Proficient communication skills via meetings and written correspondence. - Independent, self-starter mentality: ability to make informed decisions, discover creative approaches to difficult challenges, and fulfill commitments. - Execution-focused mindset - you are a solution-oriented problem solver and efficiency-driven. - Flexible, adaptable, and capable of responding effectively under the pressure of a fast-paced technology company.
