Job Purpose
As a Data Analyst at TRM, you will assist in managing our data systems and support operations. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring data quality, assisting the Data Manager with organization-wide data management (HMIS and Apricot), and fulfilling other operations-related reporting needs.

Responsibilities
- Understand TRM’s mission, vision, values, industry best practices, and funding requirements.
- Serve as database administrator for HMIS and Apricot; design and perform data clean-up and migration.
- Monitor staff data entry quality and identify improvement areas.
- Develop and revise reporting processes and tools (database reports, dashboards, advanced Excel formulas).
- Maintain and clarify Standard Operating Procedures documentation.
- Train staff in data collection, entry, and database best practices; provide ongoing support.
- Coach staff on data quality errors, offering constructive feedback.
- Manage and update Apricot database according to staff and program changes.
- Create and revise database forms as needed.
- Collect, analyze, and report data from various sources.
- Perform ad hoc reporting with limited supervision.
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and test solutions.
- Collaborate with external organizations on data-sharing issues.
- Enter data and submit online reports to funders as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned for operational effectiveness.
Working Conditions
Work primarily at a computer, with some local travel to various TRM sites. Interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Schedule: Normal business hours with some flexibility.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with relational databases.
- High attention to detail.
- Independent work capability with limited supervision.
- Understanding of exception reporting.
- Experience troubleshooting complex data issues.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to foster teamwork and maintain effective relationships in a diverse environment.
- Vehicle access for travel throughout Pierce County and TRM locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data, IT, Computer Science, Finance, or contract compliance.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis.
- Master proficiency in MS Excel.
- SQL query writing skills.
- Experience with database development and design.
- Experience creating dashboards in Power BI or other visualization tools.
