Exciting Opportunity: Data Analyst I

We are seeking a Data Analyst I to join our Electrophysiology division at our Tech Center in St. Paul, MN. Abbott's Electrophysiology business is at the forefront of heart disease treatment, using innovative technologies to improve patient health.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst I, your primary role will be to handle, analyze, and present data to support the quality organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating detailed data reports, including graphs, charts, and tables, for routine tracking, senior management reviews, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Developing macros, extracts, queries, and dashboards using Power-BI, Excel, and IBM Business Objects.
  • Maintaining and establishing complex reporting formulas and templates.
  • Ensuring compliance with FDA and other international regulatory standards, company policies, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Supporting company initiatives and maintaining a professional work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline or data science.
  • Two or more years of progressive experience in Quality, Design, Engineering, or Research & Development.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI (or Tableau), and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data metrics effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, strategic planning, and tactical execution skills.

The base pay for this position ranges from $48,000.00 to $96,000.00, varying by location.
