Join Our Team as a Data Analyst I at Willdan Lighting & Electric
Willdan Lighting and Electric (WLE), a dynamic Willdan subsidiary, is actively seeking a Data Analyst I to enhance our energy efficiency programs based in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to craft and support program tools, automations, and database strategies, under the collaborative guidance of our Data Manager.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Design and develop tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, dictionaries, and complex ad-hoc queries for SQL Server databases.
- Align closely with clients and management team to prioritize business and data/reporting needs.
- Translate client requests into actionable technical requirements.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline processes.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination within the team to uphold Willdan standards and procedures.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including proficiency in table structuring, queries, and stored procedure creation.
- Over 1 year of development experience with object-oriented languages.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong skills in Angular framework and advanced Microsoft Excel, including VBA and macros.
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
