Are you passionate about transforming data into insightful business intelligence? Our Lending Analytics Business Intelligence and Data Science team at Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to analyze lending product performance and optimize business strategies.

Role Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, cross-functional team responsible for:

  • Analyzing new business operations, portfolio management, and loss mitigation
  • Leveraging advanced data analytic techniques to optimize business strategies and manage risk
  • Providing actionable business intelligence in consultation with management for strategic decision-making
  • Conducting analytical studies to deliver recommendations to senior management for strategic initiatives
  • Leading complex tasks with considerable latitude and scope
  • Evaluating operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of operational functions, workflow, and processes
  • Collaborating with functional areas to develop and maintain key performance metrics
  • Designing and documenting dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor business status and fluctuations
  • Collecting and synthesizing data for actionable results and business improvements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Significant experience with statistical methods, forecasting, and analytical tools
  • Experience in problem resolution and root cause analysis
  • Strong background in market/consumer research, project management, and analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages and advanced data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects

Desired Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
