We’re looking for someone like you to spearhead complex data exploration and analytics, utilizing their experience in operations research to enhance program tests and evaluations. As an operations research analyst, you will offer system performance and effectiveness analyses to assist the development of new capabilities. You will aid in test planning and execution by identifying test data requirements, collecting the required data, and analyzing it for further analysis. You'll participate in the development of test run cards and attend mission briefs and debriefs. You will support test mission execution and carry out real-time quick assessment of test results. You will also take part in test reporting by reviewing test data and validating data integrity and accuracy. You'll also develop analytical tools, such as mathematical models, equations, computer programs, and simulations, to model and analyze data. You Have: - 5+ years of experience with gathering, cleansing, and parsing data from aircraft systems - 5+ years of experience with analyzing large-scale datasets using data analysis tools like Excel or JMP - Experience in statistics, operations research, mathematics, optimization, modeling and simulation, prediction, estimation, decision analysis, or engineering management - Experience with conducting, developing, and coordinating high-priority planning and in-depth data analyses of major project assignments - Experience providing system performance and effectiveness analyses to assist in developing new capabilities - Experience aiding in test planning and execution and the design process by pinpointing test data requirements - Experience reviewing flight test reports for anomaly investigation, developing technical solutions, and coordination and performing technical reviews - Experience with using scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses - TS/SCI clearance - Bachelor’s degree in a technical field Nice If You Have: - Experience in creating models and engineering solutions using networking or telecommunication technologies and systems - Experience with leading multi-disciplinary teams - Knowledge of developing analytical tools like mathematical models, equations, computer programs, and simulations to model and analyze data - Ability to work in Windows and Linux OS environments - Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research or Applied Mathematics Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. The displayed estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just a component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
