At Amgen Breda, our team of over 1,000 professionals from 38 nationalities works on the supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines, as well as conducting clinical research into new medicines. Here, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide.

About the Internship

Join us in enhancing our Bill of Materials (BOM) processes. This internship focuses on process mapping, data mining, and the analysis of BOM data. As we transition to a digital approach, standardizing BOM practices across our network is essential for growth. The integration of technology tools, including BOTs and generative AI, will enhance data agility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a quantitative and qualitative assessment of BOM practices across Amgen sites and regions using data mining tools.
• Perform SAP data mining assessments to support process improvements.

Deliverables

• Prepare a report summarizing SAP BOM data mining and analysis results.
• Identify process improvements and propose new KPIs.

Requirements

• Pre-final or final year student in Science, Digital Data Management, Industry Engineering, or similar fields (both bachelor’s and master’s studies are acceptable).
• Proficiency in English (both verbal and written; Dutch is a plus).
• Good technical writing skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with SAP and a strong interest in digital or data sciences.
• Knowledge of materials management and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP).
• A self-starter with a strategic mindset.
