Job Description

Position Summary:

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to energetic and ambitious individuals for our internship program as a Data Analyst Intern at CGG. This role involves reporting to the Data Science Manager and collaborating within the department to support the team on projects designed to meet our corporate goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the data science team with fundamental data inquiries and correcting extensive data sets.
• Document adjustments and modifications.
• Test and manage Python code using Integrated Development Environments (IDE) and GIT for repository management.
• Develop tools that enhance communication of functionalities and user experience.
• Learn from observing experienced developers during coding sessions.
• Adhere to strict guidelines in Python coding practices.
• Collaborate with team members to complete group projects as defined and guided by leadership.
• Handle special projects and undertake additional duties as delegated by the Data Science Manager.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college program focusing on IT, Business, or a related field, at sophomore level or above.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency in VSCode/PyCharm and other IDEs.
• Experience with Python.
• Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive data.
