Job Posting: Senior Tableau Developer (Data Analyst IV)

Position Duties:
- Leverage statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to create insightful metrics, reports, and visualizations.
- Capture and manage data from both internal and external sources to ensure consistency across ongoing projects.
- Resolve complex issues using professional concepts and company objectives innovatively and effectively.
- Analyze complex issues by evaluating variable factors comprehensively.
- Develop advanced data visualizations and troubleshoot database technical issues with the development team.
- Generate monthly Excel and Google Sheets files from the database and perform quality assurance to identify potential data gaps.
- Support data infrastructure needs by handling data-related technical issues and assembling large, complex data sets.
- Collaborate with data and analytics experts to enhance Astreya’s data systems' functionality.
- Design and generate statistical demand forecast reports and continuously improve forecasting techniques and approaches.
- Create automation scripts and models to enhance efficiencies.
- Maintain and evolve documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
- Identify improvements and automation opportunities through Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
- Provide reports to senior management for monthly briefings and support large-scale projects globally.
- Create report mockups, test cases, and success criteria for tool Proofs-of-Concepts and generate features and visualization types for reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide data-driven insights and recommendations for decision-making processes.
- Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA, and implement data governance practices to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
Degree Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in the position offered or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements:
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with RDBMS and other database types such as Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with Big Data to provide EDA to senior team leads.
- Expertise in managing large data sets and creating visual data representations.
- Advanced skills in Excel, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference formulas (e.g., VLOOKUPs), statistical formulas (e.g., COUNTIFs, SUMIFs), macros, conditional formatting, importing data, and creating graphs/charts.
- Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to identify, analyze, and interpret trends, gaps, and patterns.
- Experience working across multiple organizational levels and leading cross-functional process improvements.
Telecommuting/Travel:
Approximately 5% or less of domestic travel.
Location:
655 Montgomery Street, Suite 490, DPT# 17117, San Francisco, CA 94111, and various unanticipated worksites throughout the USA.
Rate of Pay:
$151,736 per year
Salary Range:
$98,572.00 - $155,640.00 USD (Salary)

Placement within the salary range will depend on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, and preferred qualifications.
