About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will drive data-driven decision-making across our organization. Your responsibility will include collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to various stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and monetization teams. Your expertise in data analysis and visualization will be pivotal in optimizing our business processes, identifying trends, and improving overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership, product, and engineering teams to analyze large and complex data sets, identifying patterns and trends to enhance product performance and decision-making.
• Design and develop quantitative and statistical models to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization, and identify opportunities to apply them within our organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used for data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, such as regression analysis, clustering, and hypothesis testing.
• Excellent ability to present to executive stakeholders to achieve alignment for complex decisions requiring tradeoffs.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $110,000—$200,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our rewards package to attract top talent, which may also include eligibility for discretionary bonus and options, depending on the role.
