Job Summary

Under the guidance of Medical Staff Services management, the Data Analyst will enhance operational efficiency and functionality through advanced statistical analysis, innovative data reporting, and impactful data visualization solutions. This role also encompasses project management and database security maintenance to foster improved decision-making and results.

Key Qualifications

Candidates must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) complemented by 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years with MD-Staff credentialing systems. Degrees in Health Administration, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Administration, paired with applicable database management experience, are preferred.

Required skills include proficiency in SQL and experience with the MD-Staff credentialing system. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and solid data structure and transformation understanding are essential.

Essential Functions

The Data Analyst is responsible for a broad range of activities:

  • Analyzing data to bolster workflow assessments, operational efficiency, and performance metrics.
  • Providing end-user technical support and managing credentialing system data integrity.
  • Designing and maintaining data and credentialing system workflows and processes.
  • Producing various reports to aid in monitoring and decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities extend to:

  • Preparing board packets, developing training materials, and staying updated with industry best practices.
  • Resolving software and hardware issues and completing various administrative support tasks as needed.
