About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Data Analyst to join our Metals and Mining Industry Content team at S&P Global Market Intelligence. This role is pivotal in capturing comprehensive data and contributing to our industry-leading databases.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

• Capture comprehensive information pertinent to the Metals and Mining Industry.
• Perform straightforward, stand-alone tasks within predefined procedures.
• Meet predefined individual and team targets, ensuring quality and excellence.
• Stay updated with mining content sets and industry trends.
• Contribute ideas for new data collection methods and product enhancements.
• Foster innovation and support our LEAN philosophy by identifying enhancement initiatives.
• Review content-related feedback to refine procedures and improve accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues, providing meaningful feedback to enhance team performance.

Basic Qualifications:

Graduates of BS Geology, BS Engineering, or Science courses (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
Strong skills in communication, comprehension, and problem-solving.
Ability to collaborate across various cultures.
Willingness to work in mid-shifts, with potential changes based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

A focus on data quality, attention to detail, and a process- and results-oriented approach.
Knowledge or experience in the mining industry.
Experience in research or data collection.
Technical writing, SQL, and advanced Excel skills.
