Duties and Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Collaborating with data scientists to understand data requirements and assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation.
• Working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Power BI dashboards.
• Analyzing complex datasets to extract valuable insights and trends, providing recommendations to drive informed decision making.
• Taking ownership of data management processes, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and availability.
• Proactively identifying areas for improvement in data infrastructure, architecture, and governance, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Staying current with advancements in the data realm, including emerging technologies, methodologies, and practices, to evaluate their potential impact on our operations.
• Providing support and guidance in database administration to ensure optimal performance and security.

Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts, with experience in database administration and query authoring (SQL).
• Proficient hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services).
• Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of relevant data technologies (e.g., Azure IaaS and PaaS, Microsoft Fabric, etc.).
