Job Description: Master Data Analyst

The Master Data Analyst is pivotal in operations for the Master Data Management (MDM) Organization at AstraZeneca. This role involves designing and facilitating MDM processes and tools to ensure quality and consistency in our master data. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the design and implementation of master data processes and tools.
  • Maintaining and updating master data records.
  • Ensuring master data integrity and compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Analyzing data feeds and reconciling critical reports for daily operations and data privacy compliance.
  • Providing training and business support for MDM tools.
  • Managing mass data changes and authorizations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technical discipline, or equivalent experience in data analysis/administration, data quality, or data governance.
  • 0-6 years of relevant professional experience in MDM.
  • Basic understanding of the business impact of data and data quality.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and make decisive choices.

Desirable Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Experience with SAP ECC or S4/HANA.
  • Good understanding of SAP MDG.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or shared services is a plus.
