Job Description

As a Data Analyst at Dailymotion, you'll become an integral part of our Data Product Craft, collaborating with a diverse and dynamic group of over 20 data enthusiasts. You will play a critical role in enhancing Dailymotion’s data-driven strategies and in the continuous development of our products. Your expertise will be fundamental in providing insights that shape our product decisions and help in understanding user experiences, player performance, and monetization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore: Conduct exploratory analyses to identify business improvement opportunities and gain insights into our product ecosystem.
• Experiment: Design and analyze A/B tests, advising on appropriate experiment strategies tailored to specific needs.
• Empower: Promote data-driven decision-making within the company, create automated dashboards, and train colleagues on analytics tools to enhance data accessibility.
• Measure: Evaluate the impact of product changes on business outcomes and monitor key performance metrics.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine products continually.
• Communicate: Effectively share findings through visualizations, presentations, and direct recommendations.

Technical Environment

Our data operations utilize Google Big Query, with frequent SQL querying. We also employ R and Python for specialized data needs, alongside Tableau and Google Data Studio for robust data visualization. Our internal A/B testing framework is Python-based, facilitating precise analytical processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quantitative/statistical analysis (2+ years).
• Academic background in a quantitative field (BS or MS).
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau and Google Data Studio.
• Experience with R and Python for data analysis is highly valued.
• Passion for leveraging data within a technical environment and a keen interest in digital product strategy.
• Excellent communication, project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
• Fluency in English.
