About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst, Operations to join our vibrant team. This role involves working closely with our Member Operations and Trust & Safety teams to enhance operational efficiencies and member engagement.

The Operations Analytics team at Bumble Inc. is pivotal in evaluating and advancing our operational strategies across various platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust background in operations analytics, preferably within tech-related fields such as dating, social media, or gaming products. Our ideal candidate is adept at transforming complex data into actionable insights and scalable solutions, with a strong understanding of customer behavior and operational metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to drive insightful analytical outcomes that support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Present data-driven insights to stakeholders, recommending and implementing tools for enhanced decision automation and scalability.
• Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to track and analyze operational performance metrics.
• Act as a liaison between the business and analytics teams to ensure data consistency and integrity in reporting.
• Employ advanced analytics, including machine learning and automation, to optimize business operations.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, or a related STEM field.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial or operational analytics, with a proven track record of impactful business contributions.
• Experience with complex data systems and proficiency in analytical and visualization tools such as DBT, Airflow, Fivetran, and Tableau/PowerBI/Looker.
• Strong capabilities in SQL, Python, and other analytical tools and platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience in influencing and educating executives and cross-functional teams on the value of data-driven decision-making.
