Job Summary

As a Data Analyst - Reporting at INTRUST Bank, you will be responsible for developing and providing consultation on reports requested by all areas of the company. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine reporting requirements, implement process changes to improve efficiency, and increase automation. Additionally, you will learn new software, systems, and workflow processes as necessary. Your role will also involve running and preparing recurring reports, updating procedures and documentation, and promoting teamwork within the department and across the bank. You will represent INTRUST Bank in the community and focus on developing new business relationships while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Understand business information needs and reporting requirements by working with internal customers.
  • Provide accurate, timely information to all levels of management with a high level of accountability.
  • Learn new systems and processes to comprehend requests being made.
  • Improve processes in other departments by automating work and reducing manual intervention.
  • Identify, question, and correct inaccurate information promptly.
  • Utilize multiple systems to make decisions affecting a wide range of projects and follow up with appropriate personnel.
  • Work independently and collaboratively using efficient processes and tools.
  • Interact with all levels of management, employees, auditors, regulators, and third-party vendors.
  • Be results-driven with the ability to take initiative and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organize and multi-task effectively.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Data Analytics, Finance, or Management Information Systems is required. Related work experience with knowledge of query tools is a plus.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Good researching and analytical skills, along with advanced computer skills, are essential. Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), Monarch, Business Objects, SQL, and bank accounting methods is preferred.

Physical Demands:

Extended periods of viewing a computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Physical demands should be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
