Data Analyst - Flow Controls at Emerson

Emerson is seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to enhance our Lifecycle Services by providing critical data analysis, which supports business development, analysis, and reporting. This role is pivotal in managing and improving the processes of the Lifecycle Services team, utilizing continuous improvement methodologies and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage master data for Flow Control products, including creation, updates, and maintenance.
• Ensure quality assurance of imported data with rigorous validation and cleaning.
• Implement automated solutions to streamline manual processes.
• Support our data warehouse in defining and revising reporting requirements.
• Generate and manage reports from various systems, collaborating with different teams.
• Address and resolve issues within the reporting database environment.
• Assess changes and updates to source production systems.
• Assist in data storage structuring, mining, and cleansing particularly for aftermarket business.
• Analyze install base data to unlock underlying business potentials.
• Monitor and manage customer site account plans utilizing install base data.
• Perform additional tasks as allocated by the line manager.

• Diverse knowledge of process flow, data gathering, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, Power BI, including Excel Queries and Macro development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or engineering degree in a relevant field.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases.
