We are recruiting a range of skills and specialisms due to increased work across our National Security accounts. Successful candidates are required to hold a valid security clearance (SC) at minimum, through UKSV. Therefore, you must be a British National and hold a UK Passport. Your clearance status will be verified before interview.
Background:
Due to increasing demand for our services, we are looking to recruit SC Cleared experienced Data Analysts to join our Bristol Infrastructure Digital team. This role involves supporting a wide range of Defence projects of various sizes and dimensions. We seek individuals with a proven record of delivery in a consultancy environment.
The Opportunity:
The responsibilities of the Data Analyst include, but are not limited to:
• Providing technical expertise and support to non-experts
• Producing multi-faceted reports along with recommendations for senior management
• Developing, analyzing and maintaining corporate datasets
• Providing guidance and advice on data quality issues to a variety of data providers
• Developing/using, mechanisms employed by clients to allocate manpower to projects
• Ensuring visibility, accuracy, and transparency of the project's critical path
• Preparing presentations and other materials for client pitches.
• Entering key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database tools.
Required Skills
• Active Security Clearance or eligibility to receive Security Clearance if needed.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Data Analyst
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills with the capability to understand and present data in varied representations
• Proven track record in Data Analysis; identifying requirements and documenting these using appropriate tools and documentation
• Understanding of data warehousing and processes
• Experience from project initiation to ongoing operation of data, analytics, and reporting projects
• Ability to identify and run different business and model scenarios
