Data Analyst, Trauma Registrar (Remote with Occasional Onsite in Lafayette, IN)

We invite applications for the position of Data Analyst, Trauma Registrar. This role involves abstracting data from trauma patients and entering it into a trauma registry. The successful candidate will analyze data to identify trends and work closely with the trauma manager, outreach coordinator, and performance improvement coordinator to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide data analysis and database management support for various programs and initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for all levels of management, aiding in the review, understanding, and analysis of data for performance improvement initiatives.
  • Offer data analysis support, generate reports, validate data, and provide user training to additional system users.

Strongly Preferred

  • Medical Background
  • Coding Experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Access.
  • Clinical and/or healthcare experience preferred.
