Data Analyst - Value Engineering at Innovaccer

Join our dynamic team at Innovaccer as a Data Analyst in the Value Engineering department. We're seeking talented individuals to certify and validate various measures utilized in the U.S. Healthcare industry, including Quality, Utilization, and Financial metrics. As part of our expanding Healthcare Innovations team, you will have ample opportunities to engage with project stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Your Role

Your primary focus will be to execute pre-determined data queries using SQL, with knowledge of Python considered a bonus. These queries will be run on customer data to populate analysis templates. You will analyze U.S. healthcare VBC KPI’s and Value Based Care Models to identify trends, scenarios, outcomes, and value drivers. Our fast-paced, collaborative environment demands quick learning, agility, and flexibility.

A Day in the Life

• Manage data processing and reporting functions related to big data.
• Create, run, and validate queries on Big Data Databases.
• Perform data manipulation and create JSON configurations for quality measures.
• Check for data accuracy and upload scores.
• Analyze mismatched results and discuss key issues with your team.
• Collaborate with different teams to tackle various client challenges.
• Provide data validation support to other teams.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or healthcare information technology with under 2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in writing JSON and SQL queries is required. Experience with Python and Power BI is a plus.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and presentation tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Proven success as an individual contributor.
• Capability to understand complex requirements and derive effective solutions.
• Ability to learn quickly, take on new challenges, and manage multiple assignments.
• An interest in big data analytics.
• Knowledge of HEDIS quality measures is a bonus.
