As a Data Analyst, you will contribute to delivering enhanced data solutions for our high-end customers, working with a variety of data sets within the Land domain. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at Janes, you will:

• Create, review, update, or delete data related to Land Platforms.
• Ensure data correctness, currency, completeness, and consistency through rigorous open-source research and collaboration with in-house subject matter experts and defence media contributors.
• Produce high-quality structured data, carefully managing the data capture process to provide easily interrogable datasets for customers.
• Assist in maintaining exacting data standards that facilitate the modularity of Janes Aerospace and Defence data, enhancing flexibility in delivery for customer-specific requirements and supporting A.I. applications.
• Create linkages between data sets across the Land product area, enhancing data value by establishing relationships with other relevant fields.
• Undertake various data-oriented projects, ensuring data adheres to existing standards through assessment, rationalization, and tidy-up processes.

Ideal Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defence subject matter and terminology, with a focus on logistics and supporting platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a logical approach to problem solving.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel applications.
• Experience working in a data environment (databases, data transformation, information sciences, or similar).
• Experience in categorization/classification.
