About the Role

As a Data Analyst in our dynamic, newly established Analytics team, you will be instrumental in shaping the analytics landscape at Fortis Games. You will work hand-in-hand with our broader data department to leverage data-driven insights to optimize decision-making and enhance the performance across multiple vertical teams such as Marketing, Quality Assurance (QA), Community, and Player Support.

In this role, you will lead the development of the company's suite of analytical dashboards and train teams to utilize these tools effectively. Your deep dives into data will reveal trends, patterns, and untapped opportunities, which will be crucial in forming strategic recommendations for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine analytic dashboards and reports on Looker
• Develop robust data models to support our analytics infrastructure
• Provide training on our analytics systems to various teams within the company
• Analyze substantial, complex data sets to address strategic business questions
• Collaborate closely with all organizational sectors from engineering to marketing to enhance team initiatives
• Deliver actionable insights through data analytics and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in analytics, preferably within social tech, games, mobile, or consumer web applications
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience querying large, complex datasets
• Required experience with Looker
• Proven background in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling
• Expertise in data preparation, modeling, and transformation
• Familiarity with designing and implementing Telemetry analytics events
• Excellent multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and oral
• A strong passion for analytics and a commitment to staying current with industry trends and advancements
