Job Responsibilities:

Analytical Role: You will conduct comprehensive analysis of healthcare data to extract actionable insights and identify trends that inform strategic initiatives.

Data Management: You will be responsible for developing and implementing data cleaning and preprocessing techniques to ensure data quality and integrity. Additionally, you will design and build automated dashboarding tools, predictive models, and algorithms to support various healthcare-related applications including patient care optimization, resource allocation, and risk prediction.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, administrators, and IT professionals to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Research and Development: Utilize analytical and statistical tools to perform exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing, communicating the findings effectively to stakeholders. You will also maintain and optimize databases and data infrastructure to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.

Continued Learning: Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in data science, healthcare informatics, and related fields, incorporating best practices into our data science workflows.

Education and Certification Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Background: Proven experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, within the healthcare industry. Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques using tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.

Expertise: Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques. Hands-on experience in implementing algorithms and building predictive models is essential.

Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations is preferred. Experience working with healthcare-related datasets, such as electronic health records (EHR), claims data, and medical imaging data, is a plus.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex findings in a clear manner.

Location: This position is based in the UAE, and healthcare experience in the UAE will be an advantage.
