Position Overview

As a Data Analytics Architect, you will lead the Data Engineering team, focusing on building reliable Data Ingestion Pipelines. Your role will involve seamlessly transferring and transforming data from SaaS and in-house transactional databases to a Data Warehouse, enabling actionable business insights. This data foundation will support Reporting, Machine Learning Analysis, and Generative AI. We're seeking a strong technical leader with excellent communication and management skills to spearhead our data engineering efforts. What You'll Do

  • Define best practices for the development, automated testing, and monitoring of data ingestion pipelines.
  • Establish standards for Data Mapping, Data Transformation to Analytics-friendly structures, and Data Validation.
  • Govern standards and best practices within the Data Engineering Team.
  • Provide task breakdowns for Data Engineers.
  • Ensure the delivery and 100% uptime of Environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership and data insights teams, engineering, sales, and marketing.
  • Serve as a hands-on Player/Coach, leading the Data Engineering team.
  • Partner with the scrum master for story building and sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with the Data Insights team leader to align on priorities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • BS in Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field experience.
  • Minimum of five years of SDLC experience in ETL/ELT environments with tools such as Fivetran, dbt, SQL, AWS Redshift, Boomi, PowerBI, and Git.
  • At least three years of experience in building schemas for Analytical purposes.
  • Minimum of one year in a Team Lead role managing a Data Engineering team.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud and Services like AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Python for at least one year.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM products such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Hubspot, and Eloqua.
  • Strong development background with expertise in modern SDLC best practices.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful data initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
