The Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO) at JPMorgan oversees firm-wide asset and liability management for one of the world's largest financial institutions. Positioned at the core of the firm, TCIO directly influences the balance sheet composition and the activities of the firm's four main lines of business (LOBs): Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, and Consumer & Community Banking.
Your Role within Corporate Treasury Middle Office (CTMO)
As a Data Analytics Solutions Associate within the Corporate Treasury Middle Office (CTMO), you will support the firm with liquidity and structural interest rate risk (SIRR) reporting. You will engage in key responsibilities, including:
- Overseeing the operating model that supports the aggregation of data for the firm's risk reporting process, including balance sheet detail, forecasts, and assumptions. This involves executing key data integrity controls, reconciliations, adjustments, and analytics.
- Coordinating the production of firm-wide, LOB, and Legal Entity level risk reports by set deadlines, working globally to research and explain variances in key risk measures and facilitating sign-off by senior risk stakeholders.
- Partnering with internal data source providers and risk stakeholders across all business lines to complete data investigations and enhance the timeliness and accuracy of risk reporting.
- Responding to internal or regulatory requests to conduct ad hoc data analysis or produce custom reports as necessary.
Our team comprises approximately 100 professionals located in North America (Delaware, Jersey City, and NYC), Europe (London, Warsaw), and Asia (Hong Kong, India). You will collaborate with our global team to coordinate key projects impacting all locations while assisting with business management responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage large projects including creating project plans and scorecards, tracking and facilitating progress on key milestones, and participating in stakeholder communications.
- Act as Product Owner for low code workflows including requirements, build, design, testing, and training (ServiceNow and Pega).
- Liaise with the Firm-wide team to digest and communicate changes in the intelligent solution workspace, tracking productivity savings and cost avoidance.
- Lead the continued buildout of the organization’s intelligent automation capabilities globally by collaborating with regional managers to promote an Intelligent Solution (IS) charter, facilitating training and solution design workshops, and leading a global forum to track and prioritize initiatives while ensuring compliance with the Firm's IA policy.
- Design and build intelligent solutions using the Firm’s full IS toolset including Python, Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath, and RPA as needed.
- Coordinate headcount planning and forecasting for the organization.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Degree in a Technological, Data Science, or Finance-related field and at least 1 year of experience in a financial role.
- 1+ years of experience developing process improvement solutions.
- Project management experience, including planning and managing projects end-to-end, working with Agile methods, and using Jira.
- Experience developing automated workflows using low code tools such as Pega and ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multitask, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-level presentations.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and drive initiatives forward.
