Data Analytics Specialist at ICF

About the Role:

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will:

• Analyze client business needs and develop sophisticated analytical tools and dashboard visualizations.
• Retrieve, analyze, and interpret data to produce actionable intelligence that aids strategic decision-making.
• Work collaboratively across various levels within the organization to enhance data-driven strategies.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize operational and financial reports that support critical business decisions.
• Engage with Data Architects to create relevant analytical measures and KPIs.
• Ensure the integrity of data through continuous quality assessments, identifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
• Enhance the end-to-end processes of data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for the educational requirement.
• At least 2 years of experience with modern analytics tools such as PowerBI, IBM, SAP, or Google analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, data extraction, data transformation, and data modeling, with a minimum of two years experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of client/server and web-based applications.
• Experience integrating data with various business systems like Costpoint, Workday, Dynamics, and Maconomy.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Python and querying database technologies like Oracle and MS SQL.

Professional Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Expertise in handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, results-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

The salary for this Data Analytics Specialist position ranges from $63,511 to $107,968 annually, depending on experience, skills, and other factors.
