The Role's Purpose

Our Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) team serves as trusted advisors with expertise in Data Modernisation, Analytics, and AI. We empower our customers by utilizing data to meet their business objectives and steer their journey through Analytics-led Azure Data transformation. Our role involves guiding customers in assessing their applications and business requirements, recommending solutions, and securing technical decisions through compelling demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

As a solution sales expert, the Data and AI Sales Specialist will:

• Partner closely with our top-tier customers, spearheading initiatives to achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets.
• Drive customer engagement, initiating new opportunities, and cultivating tailored pipelines.
• Strategize to accelerate deal closure and enhance opportunity approaches.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to pinpoint and foster partnership developments.
• Lead impactful conversations and events to promote Microsoft's innovative solutions, while mentoring peers and fostering potential customer and partner relations.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years experience in selling business solutions, focusing on data platforms, analytics, or artificial intelligence technologies to large or global enterprise clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
• Expertise in data solutions across cloud-based data warehouses like Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, and SQL solutions including PostgreSQL, coupled with Machine Learning and AI technologies.
