Job Description:

We are excited to invite a driven Data and Automation Analyst to join our dynamic Finance Transformation Team. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the development and execution of the LGRI Finance Data and Automation strategy, taking charge of various initiatives aimed at refining processes and enhancing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Data and Automation team to enhance processes within the LGRI Finance department and other linked departments.
  • Design and implement innovative operational methods to minimize manual work and improve efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them updated on the progress of initiatives using suitable communication methods.
  • Work alongside the Finance Transformation Team to identify areas for improvement and ensure effective control frameworks are integrated into all project work.
  • Maintain rigorous process, systems, and controls, and escalate any risks or issues as per Legal & General’s Customer Experience and TCF policy.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a proactive part-qualified actuary who is progressing well with their actuarial exams, backed by some experience in the life insurance sector. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A solid grasp of data processes in insurance business administration and reporting metrics like IFRS and Solvency II.
  • Strong data manipulation or coding skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in reviewing and improving business processes.
