Role Summary
The Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for providing high-quality data analysis primarily accessed through intuitive dashboards. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop relevant dashboards and delivering automated, accurate data sets. The Analyst will support projects that generate efficiencies in data-driven processes, metrics, KPIs, and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions for executive leadership.
- Prepare and distribute scheduled business reports and ad hoc data solutions.
- Identify and support business needs, recommending solutions that integrate with existing technical setups.
- Effectively communicate and present complex analytics to stakeholders.
- Utilize Power BI tools to analyze data and report out results for process improvements.
- Design and implement automated dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Identify actionable insights and suggest recommendations to influence business direction.
- Support development and maintenance of internal data analytics procedures and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to established business and data processes.
- Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Preferred: Power BI, Tableau reporting certifications.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics activities.
- Experience related to Finance.
- Proficient in business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of at least one general programming language, Python or R preferred.
- Experience with databases and data warehouses (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server).
- Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project or Planner.
- Willingness to utilize other technology platforms (SAP, Oracle, Azure, etc.).
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM software development environments and code management/versioning (e.g., git).
- Ability to analyze business situations, excellent organizational and communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience creating process flow diagrams and technical specifications for data projects.
- Preferred: Statistical background or demonstrated statistical experience.
