About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust data solutions that address intricate business issues. If you have a passion for leveraging structured and unstructured data at scale and a detailed understanding of Snowflake, we would love to have a conversation with you!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update comprehensive data architecture plans that correspond with business goals and comply with regulatory needs.
• Create scalable and efficient data models, schemas, and pipelines using the Snowflake data warehouse platform.
• Work closely with stakeholders to transform business requirements into technical specifications tailored for Snowflake solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance through stringent governance and security measures.
• Enhance Snowflake performance by optimizing queries, fine-tuning indexing strategies, and overseeing resource utilization.
• Lead the assessment and integration of new Snowflake functionalities to boost data management capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a Data Architect role with extensive expertise in Snowflake platform design and implementation.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture—data storage, virtual warehouses, data sharing, etc.
• Proficient in SQL with experience in scripting languages such as Python for effective data manipulation and automation.
• Strong knowledge of data integration tools and processes (ETL/ELT, streaming data pipelines).
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Snowflake’s integration with cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical/Life Science domain—covering patient data, commercial data, drug development, and healthcare analytics.
