Job Title: Data Developer

As a Data Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining data reporting solutions. Your expertise will shape how we handle vast amounts of data to drive decision-making and elevate operational efficiency for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and fine-tune data pipelines tailored for analytics and reporting.
  • Implement, oversee, and optimize Metabase-powered reporting solutions ensuring user-friendly access.
  • Collaborate across teams to define KPIs, gather requirements, and distill actionable insights through advanced reports.
  • Handle data cleansing, transformation, and preparation for robust reporting.
  • Ensure high reliability and optimal performance of data pipelines and reporting mechanisms.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in data engineering, analytics, and technology stack advancements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields, with postgraduate degrees considered a plus.
  • Proven expertise in PostgreSQL and other relational databases including aspects like query design and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience in Python and a familiarity with API development is preferred.
  • Understanding of the latest in cloud technologies and data warehousing is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively.
