Role Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer at SigTech, you will:

• Maintain and expand existing data pipelines using DBT, Snowflake, and S3.
• Design and implement standardized data ingress/egress pipelines.
• Integrate new data sets from diverse vendors covering various asset types and frequencies, from daily to real-time.
• Work closely with our team of quant developers to optimize data usability within our platform.
• Assist customers in onboarding their own data on our platform.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and support for operational processes, including both new and existing projects.
• Carry out full functional and unit testing of all software deliveries.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, including expertise in data integration, modeling, optimization, and quality.
• Exceptional skills in Python and familiarity with libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with cloud development, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in data warehousing tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery.
• Knowledge in workflow orchestration tools like AWS Step Functions, Airflow, Dagster.
• A solid grasp of performant database programming in SQL.
• The ability to address complex technical issues and anticipate potential risks.
• Aptitude for working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Prior experience in financial services, especially within capital markets or the funds industry.
