As a Data Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll spearhead data engineering activities within high-impact projects. Develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that give meaning to disparate data. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a dynamic, agile environment. Key Qualifications

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in application development
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications on an enterprise scale
• 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
• 3+ years of experience in retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
• 3+ years of experience building scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics
• Proven collaborative experience in a cross-functional team setting
• Proficiency in developing scripts and programs for data transformation and platform management
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with UNIX and Linux, including basic commands and Shell scripting
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Hive, AWS EMR, or Kafka
• Experience in real-time data and streaming applications
• Experience with NoSQL technologies like MongoDB or Cassandra
• Experience with data warehousing solutions such as AWS Redshift, MySQL, or Snowflake
• Experience with Agile engineering practices
• Master's degree in Data or Mathematics

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and required to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Compensation

We recognize your contributions through a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation. The projected salary range for this position is $75,600 to $172,000. This range represents the total compensation package, which includes health, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development opportunities, and more.
