A Day in the Life:

Join our team as a Data Architect/ Data Modeler where you'll be vital in crafting the architecture and data models for Hertz's innovative technology solutions. You will be pivotal in capturing business requirements and translating them into both logical and physical data models. You will also spearhead the design of technical specifications implemented by our engineering teams, working with a variety of databases and platforms, including DataBricks enterprise lakehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members across functional areas to identify and document requirements.
• Design and maintain optimal data models to meet business and domain needs.
• Advance enterprise data architecture by contributing to data catalogs and proposing scalable data integrations.
• Perform data profiling to detect anomalies and identify quality issues.
• Develop and standardize data modeling and documentation practices.
• Optimize data architecture to support database management systems and business strategy.
• Drive innovation by staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Promote and educate team members on data management best practices.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 8 years of experience in data architecture and data modeling.
• Proven expertise with Data Vault methodology; Data Vault 2.0 experience is highly desirable.
• Strong background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Proficiency in modeling tools like ER/Studio, Sparx, or ERWin, and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of PySpark or DataBricks is an advantage.
• Experience in the travel, transportation, or hospitality sectors is plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across various levels of an organization.
• Flexibility to work in varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Competitive starting between $80,000 to $115,000, enhanced with bonuses and profit-sharing plans based on experience.
