What You’ll Be Responsible For:

As an integral member of our Data Engineering - Business ETL team, you will play a pivotal role in managing our data warehouse and enabling powerful data pipelines crucial for financial and regulatory reporting. Your expertise will empower Circle’s core business functions like Finance, Accounting, and Analytics to drive growth and provide actionable insights. This role demands high standards in data integrity, impacting our company’s transparency and trustworthiness directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating extensively across product, engineering, analytics, and accounting teams.
• Creating and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Enhancing data accessibility for internal and customer-facing uses.
• Developing integrations with external data systems.
• Continuously improving data warehouse operations and performance.
• Redesigning data storage and processing frameworks.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Skilled in programming languages like Java, Scala, Python.
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with major data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks.
• Experienced with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or DBT.
• Well-versed in Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
• Prior experience with financial data systems, especially in payment systems areas, is a plus.
