Job Description

Using agile work methods, our multicultural, cross-functional teams serve as the innovation hub for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, providing our internal business partners with state-of-the-art services.

In P2P, we focus on: Procure to Order, Purchase request to purchase order optimization, Supplier master data and material master data, Invoice management, and Data Analytics, Data Mining, and Robotics. As a data engineer in GS/P2P Purpose Team Analytics, Automation & AI, you are responsible for:
• Translating business needs into data-driven technical solutions and developing Data Pipelines for the analysis of diverse data (invoices, purchase orders, quotations, etc.);
• Working on data visualization for process transparency and KPI tracking;
• Providing technical consultancy and support to other teams in data extraction, transformation, and SQL topics;
• Analyzing, organizing, and combining raw data from different sources;
• Preparing data for conducting complex data analysis and reporting, and for prescriptive and predictive modeling;
• Exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability, and identifying opportunities for data acquisition;
• Collaborating closely with data scientists and process experts to create different data products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a data engineer or in relevant fields;
• Proven expertise in building data pipelines with ETL Tools;
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau;
• Previous experience in containerization, API development, distributed computing (Openshift, Kubernetes);
• Azure cloud or MLOps experience is very welcomed.
