Job Responsibilities

As a GenAI Data Engineer at PwC, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes tailored to GenAI projects.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers in implementing machine learning models and algorithms.
• Enhance data infrastructure and storage solutions to boost data handling efficiencies.
• Acquire skills in event-driven architectures and real-time data processing and analysis.
• Work with Kubernetes and Docker for effective deployment and scaling of applications.
• Manage data lakes for comprehensive data management of structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate advanced language processing tools like Langchain and Semantic Kernel.
• Utilize leading cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS to support data activities.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance.

Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, preferably with exposure to GenAI projects.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Good understanding of SQL and database management principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills.
