As part of this team, you'll play a pivotal role in architecting our comprehensive data platform. This includes enhancing data ingestion, quality, observability, and creating reliable and scalable data solutions that integrate smoothly with business intelligence tools and APIs.

Role Overview: What You'll Do

As a Data Engineer based in our Bangalore office, your primary tasks will involve:

• Developing and implementing real-time and batch data ingestion and transformation systems.
• Designing scalable cloud data platforms to aid self-service capabilities.
• Coding in Python, Java, or other languages to build diverse data services.
• Enhancing data security and privacy across all platforms.
• Collaborating closely with product owners and cross-functional teams to drive agile project deliveries.
• Documenting processes and conducting code reviews to mentor junior team members.

Position Details

This contract position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Data Engineering and requires you to be in our Bangalore office at least two days a week, with great potential for a full-time role upon successful completion of the contract period.

Skills and Experience Required

Bring your expertise to Dialpad with:

• Minimum of 5 years in the technology sector with a focus on data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala and familiarity with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with BigQuery, Spark, Databricks, or Redshift and data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Deep understanding of big data implementations and knowledge of dimensional modeling.
