Our Risk Technology Platform (RTP) team is a cornerstone of the SSGA's Risk Business, delivering advanced risk monitoring systems across all risk verticals—including Investment Risk, Counterparty Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Operational Risk—and asset classes such as EQ, FI, ISG, FX, CASH, and Alternatives.Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: Excel in full stack development, ensuring robust and user-friendly solutions. Integrate various technologies seamlessly.
- Database Management: Expertise in relational databases, optimizing data storage and retrieval.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Maintain software efficiency and address production issues promptly.
- Ownership and Collaboration: Take initiative in project leadership and develop expertise in technical and domain-specific areas.
- Delivery and Documentation: Implement CI/CD practices, enhance existing processes, and maintain thorough documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have:- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8-12 years of robust experience in Application Development/Support in the financial services or consulting industry.
- Strong skills in Python, PL/SQL, SQL, Shell Scripting, and cloud data platforms like AWS Redshift.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Artifactory, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Java.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, and Angular 1.x.
