Job Description

Position: Data Engineer - Partners

As a Data Engineer at Wix, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining pivotal data pipelines that integrate various sources into our organizational data warehouse (DWH). You will:

• Develop scalable and robust solutions to bridge gaps in data processing.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of our data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to align business needs with our data infrastructure.

Your role is critical in translating complex business requirements into efficient data models, thereby enhancing our decision-making processes and supporting our continuous innovation cycle.

Qualifications

We're seeking a candidate who is:

• Highly analytical with over a year of experience in a data-focused role, ideally within an online, data-rich environment.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and familiar with data pipeline construction.
• Equipped with a quantitative degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• An autonomous learner passionate about data and its impact on business efficiencies.
• Fluent in English with exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experienced with tools like Airflow, Great Expectations, Spark, and cloud data solutions from Google or AWS (preferred).
