Role Summary

As a Data Engineer on our proactive Proprietary Research team, you will craft and develop comprehensive data solutions that empower investment professionals to seamlessly decipher insights from vast and intricate datasets, all within compliance standards. Your role will dictate the management and synthesis of both structured and unstructured data, elevating the utility and accessibility of Point72's vast data resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement extensive data processing pipelines, handling activities ranging from data ingestion to transformation and delivery to end-users.
• Develop scalable cloud-based infrastructures and pioneer advanced distributed systems to support our data science and engineering teams.
• Engage in new technology explorations and evaluate proofs of concept to keep our data handling capabilities at the cutting edge.

Requirements for Success

Compensation

The annual base salary for this Data Engineer position ranges between $160,000 - $220,000, dependent on location, experience, and other factors. This range does not include potential bonuses or our extensive benefits package.
