Position: Data Engineer, Data & Analytics Team

As a Data Engineer, you will:

  • Design and develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand complex datasets and gather requirements.
  • Develop scalable data transformations for efficient data curation.
  • Ensure high performance and reliability of data pipelines.
  • Perform data profiling and harmonize various data sets.
  • Stay updated with new technologies to build innovative solutions.
  • Perform bug fixes and enhancements as needed.
  • Manage small to medium Data and Analytics projects.
  • Comply with all company policies and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data wrangling and integration.
  • Understanding of modern data warehouse design principles.
  • Experience in building ETL pipelines.
  • Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
  • Motivation to develop and implement tools and processes that add organizational value.
  • Ambitious, strategic thinker with a commitment to delivering results promptly.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field.
  • Experience developing data engineering pipelines for high-volume data.
  • Experience with Airflow, dbt, Terraform, and Git.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
  • Experience managing small to medium analytics projects.
  • Experience coaching/mentoring junior team members.
