Job Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will play a vital role in defining and building the foundation of our data management systems. This position is crucial in handling and transforming customer information, which stands at the core of Wider Circle's operations. You'll work within a remote yet highly skilled team that covers a broad spectrum of activities in Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective data architectures.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data as per internal SLAs.
• Develop data models to aid in analysis and insights generation.
• Set up comprehensive data ingestion workflows into platforms like S3 and Redshift.
• Automate and optimize data pipeline deployments.
• Address and solve complex data integration issues across multiple datasets.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of ingested data and database functionalities.
• Continuously improve our data systems to enhance process efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience with cloud services like AWS, and proficiency in SQL & Python (3+ years).
• Capability in using APIs for data operations, and familiarity with Git for version control.
• Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare data, Salesforce, Matillion, Mulesoft, or similar tools. Experience with Airflow or cron, and collaborating with Data Scientists on model optimization.
